Givens Estates is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator to oversee the entire renovation process of residential units at Givens Estates before a new resident moves in. In this position, you will have direct impact of the success of every new resident move-in. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will coordinate, schedule and prepare vacant residences for renovations.

This is a great opportunity to work closely across multiple departments and interact with residents.

What you'll do:
  • Supervise, schedule, and coordinate the renovation work per the timeline established with the Sales & Marketing Department.
  • Walk all units to determine the needs. Coordinate scheduling and assignments with input from the Remarketing Team, discussing all replacements (i.e.: appliances, carpets) for consideration.
  • Work closely with the Facilities Department, Environmental Services, and the Sales & Marketing Move-in Coordinator to complete the residences for occupancy.
  • Track remarketing expenses, time to readiness, and other key metrics as determined by the Sales and Marketing Director
  • Determine priorities with input from the Sales & Marketing Director.
  • Develop well-researched quotes for renovations and upgrades that meet the needs of future residents and Givens Estates.
  • Order and purchase materials for renovation projects.
  • Code and submit invoices for approval.
  • Provide feedback to Sales & Marketing Director about upgrade issues/improvements.
  • Regularly communicate remarketing schedules and commitments to the remarketing team.
  • Communicate assignments and major tasks to contractors and other departments. Make sure contractors have completed the required contractual GE paperwork and that required licensure and insurance are maintain to complete assignment properly.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Provide support with move-in logistics by ensuring moving truck parking is available, elevators are padded. etc.
  • Participate, provide input, and support during department and campus-wide meetings.
  • Actively participate and accept personal responsibility to ensure the success of the Corporate Compliance Program
  • Provide exceptional customer service.

What you'll need:
  • At least five years of related work experience or a two-year degree in construction science.
  • General knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC or other maintenance areas
  • General skills or understanding in carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical repairs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and multiple project responsibilities and working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to express verbal ideas and impart information to residents and residents' families
  • Be comfortable working with multiple software, such as, Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Excel, etc.
  • A valid North Carolina Driver's license.
  • Ability to embody and uphold the corporate personality and culture of Givens with its emphasis on warmth, caring, generation of community, enthusiasm, achievement of excellence, and joy.

Nice to haves:
  • A home inspector license or equivalent training

Salary is $50,000 and includes a comprehensive benefits package and $1,000 sign-on bonus!
