Do you have a finance degree and are looking to join a company with benefits and a great career path?
If you do, then our client in Downtown Asheville is looking for a staff accountant to join their team and help in their accounting department and they could use you.
The Important Stuff:
- Pay Rate is $38,000-$42,000/yr
- Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
- Convenient in the Downtown Asheville area
- Benefits once hired
Things to keep in mind:
- This position requires a background check
- You will need a 4-year finance/accounting degree
- This is position is a great opportunity to start a career
- This position is fast paced, and you will be sitting for long periods of time
Highlights of your work:
- You will be maintaining fixed assets system and general ledgers
- You will prepare month end closings and reconciliations as well as monthly/quarterly sales tax returns
- You will help with posted transactions
- You will do annual audit preparations
- You will reconcile monthly bank statements
- Take on other unexpected tasks like a superhero
